I just returned to Los Angeles after a brief trip to my hometown of
Freeport, TX. My brother and his new wife Diana decided that one
wedding would not be enough for them, so they supplimented their
Cancuni Matrimony with a "local" reception in the 'port of destiny.'It was by all standards a splendid affair --- offering up faces of those I've not seen in over ten years or more. It was an excellent chance to catch up with family and friends of yore.
It was also the chance to experience some other things I have not in quite some time -- like the rain.
And I also got to take a chance to visit, albeit briefly, with Grandpa and Bette. Here they are seeing me off.
