I just returned to Los Angeles after a brief trip to my hometown of
Freeport, TX. My brother and his new wife Diana decided that one
wedding would not be enough for them, so they supplimented their
Cancuni Matrimony with a "local" reception in the 'port of destiny.'It was by all standards a splendid affair --- offering up faces of those I've not seen in over ten years or more. It was an excellent chance to catch up with family and friends of yore.
It was also the chance to experience some other things I have not in quite some time -- like the rain.
And I also got to take a chance to visit, albeit briefly, with Grandpa and Bette. Here they are seeing me off.
I recently downloaded a program that takes a quick look at your statistics from iChat and was surprised to see that my typey-ass self has keyed about 2/3 of a million words to the lucky recipients on my buddy list in the last two years. Not so gregarious are those who respond (or choose not to) who have only cared enough to type back 1/4 of a million words in response. Very interesting, don't you think?
And far be it from me for not elaborating on the statistics by adding the metrics of my potty mouth. Seems I also use curses about three times as often as my buddies. There you have it ... the last two years of my online social life.

I could not believe how blue the water was in Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico for my brother's wedding. Take a look at these pics! Astounding!Here's the link to all the other photos.
The wedding was truly spectacular and gorgeous.
Don't mean to harp, but do you see how fucking blue that water is? I didn't believe it until I jumped in myself. SALTY! and blue.
